Hello! My name is Safiyah Sadek and I am from Lexington, Kentucky.

I am a senior majoring in neuroscience and minoring in psychology on the pre-med track. I am currently the social media coordinator for Omicron Delta Kappa’s UK chapter and the secretary of End Overdose, UKs nonprofit chapter that works to end drug-related overdose deaths through education, medical intervention, and public awareness. I am also an undergraduate researcher in the Gipson and HAMMER Labs, with an interest in substance use. In my free time, I enjoy reading mystery books, painting, and traveling. After completing my undergraduate studies, I aim to pursue an MD/PhD degree.
