The College of Arts and Sciences invites you to attend Biology Chemistry Neuroscience Visit Day (formerly known as Natural Science Visit Day). These visits include a general College of Arts and Sciences information session, meeting with a faculty member, a tour of the Jacobs Science Building, a STEMcats living learning program session, residence hall tour and the option to attend a class at 12pm.

Biology Chemistry and Neuroscience Visits are offered every Friday (September-November and February-April). Check-in starts at 8:30am. These sessions are from 9:00am-12:00pm. Registration is required. Seating is limited.

The College of Arts and Sciences invites students seeking direction and advice on their pre-health path toward careers in medicine, dentistry, optometry, pharmacy, physical therapy, etc. to this beneficial one-hour and fifteen-minute session. The session, led by pre-health advisors includes an overview of our healthcare programs, pre-professional curriculum, entrance exams required and tips for developing a competitive application profile.

Pre-health information sessions are offered every Friday (September-November and February-April) from 1:30pm-3:00pm. Registration is required. Seating is limited.

The College of Arts and Sciences invites students interested in Psychology to register for a Psychology visit. Psychology Visits include a general College of Arts and Sciences information session, faculty information session, psychology class and student ambassador meeting.

Psychology Visits are offered every other Friday (September-November and February-April) from 9:00am-12:00pm. Registration is required. Seating is limited.

Political Science Visits include a general College of Arts & Sciences information session, faculty information session, political science class, and student ambassador meeting.

The College of Arts & Sciences invites students seeking direction and advice on a pre-law path to this beneficial 30-minute session. The session, led by pre-law advisors, includes an overview of the UK BLUE program, pre-law curriculum, entrance exams required and tips for developing a competitive application profile, with an opportunity for an optional tour of the brand new law building immediately following the information session.

Pre-law information sessions are offered every Friday (September-November and February-April) from 1:30pm-2:00pm. Registration is required. Seating is limited.

The College of Arts and Sciences invites students interested in our 25 additional majors to register for in an individual visit. Arts and Sciences Individual Visits include a meeting with a member of the recruitment staff, meeting with a faculty member in area of interest, sitting in on a course, and meeting with a student ambassador.

Biology, Chemistry, and Neuroscience students: Sign up instead for a Natural Science Visit. Individual Visit Requests are not arranged for those majors.

Political Science and Psychology students: Sign up instead for a Political Science Visit or Psychology Visit. Individual Visit Requests are not arranged for those majors.

Interest in all other College of Arts and Sciences majors are encouraged to submit an individual request.

The College of Arts and Sciences invites you to Diversity Visit Day on February 7th, 2020 in the Gatton Student Center from 9am – 3pm. Check in starts at 8:30am. You will hear from Dean Mark Kornbluh, learn about the William C. Parker scholarship, engage with faculty, advisors and current student. Lastly, you will take a tour of the Jacobs Science Building and the residence halls.

There will be a special presentation from award-winning author, poet and professor Frank X Walker. A College of Arts and Sciences alum and current faculty member in the Department of English and African American and Africana Studies Program. Walker is a multidisciplinary artist and founding member of the Affrilachian Poets.

*NOTE: An official campus tour is not included within these Arts & Sciences options. Students interested in a campus tour can schedule with the Visitor's Center. Students interested in participating in Natural Science Visit, Psychology Visit, or Political Science Visit AND a pre-health information session will be unable to participate in an official campus tour on the same day.
