Hello! My name is Mallory Sparks, and I am a junior double majoring in Environmental & Sustainability Studies and Spanish on the pre-PA track. I am from Lexington, Kentucky and graduated from Henry Clay High School in 2022.

My favorite thing about UK is the amount of amazing opportunities available to students! During my time here, I have been involved in four different research projects studying everything from floral biodiversity to HPV-linked cancer disparities. I spent this past spring semester studying abroad in San Jose, Costa Rica and hope to study abroad next summer in Italy. In my free time, I enjoy weightlifting, playing tennis, traveling, and trying new foods. I am a member of the Student Sustainability Council, the Student Public Health Association, and the Alpha Phi Omega fraternity. I am also a member of the Lewis Honors College and a fellow of the Honors Rising Leaders Program.
