Hello! My name is Emalie Mullane and I’m from Tulsa, Oklahoma. I’m a junior pursuing a degree in biology with a minor in dance, on the pre-med track with plans of becoming a pediatrician.  

Along with being an ambassador for the College of Arts and Sciences, I’m on the UK Eventing team, part of UK Dance Ensemble, I’m a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, and a Chellgren Fellow. I’m currently participating in research with Dr. Santollo’s lab where we are studying the effects of estrogen in female rats. I’ve also been able to present my research both my freshman and sophomore years at the UK Showcase of Undergraduate Scholars. 

I chose the University of Kentucky because of the academics, the beautiful campus, the welcoming atmosphere, and the limitless opportunities the university provides.
