Hello! I am Bellamy and I am a sophomore working toward dual degrees in Linguistics and History with minors in German and French & Francophone Studies. I am from Fort Thomas, Kentucky, but I am also a Cincinnati girl at heart. Right now, my plan is to work with archives and on-site at digs to research the history of language and how cultures use physical representations of language. Whatever the next Rosetta Stone is, I want to be working on it! I am three languages into becoming a polyglot and I hope to add more as I continue my education and work. I am the treasurer of the German Club, a member of the Kentucky Karana dance team, and I go to Korean, French, and circus club meetings whenever I get the chance. In my free time I write, read, and research whatever I am obsessed with in the moment. I love collecting antique books but I am running out of space to keep them, so I may have to curb that addiction. This past summer I spent an amazing month studying French in Paris! I hope to be back there soon. I picked UK because I feel like UK picked me. With all of the opportunities here, there was really no other option in my mind. This school has everything I could want (especially all of those language clubs!) and I feel like my best self here.
