My name is Whitney Barber, and I am a Senior. This is my third year as a College of Arts & Sciences Ambassador, and I have enjoyed my time immensely. I am a Biology (B.S) and Neuroscience dual degree student with a Pre-Med Focus. I am from an extremely small town in eastern Kentucky, Dorton, which is about 30 minutes east of Pikeville. 

In addition to being an Arts & Sciences Ambassador, I am a Co-Coordinator for the Ambassador Program. I am also a member of the Pre-Med Activities Council (PMAC), Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc, where I am the Secretary and Community Service chair, K crew, and the I am a Woman in STEM initiative. I am starting research this fall as well, and I was previously in an LLP (WIRED), which is no longer on campus. I also work in the Education Abroad office and have worked there for approx. 2 years, and I just returned from a study abroad excursion in Santo Domingo, Ecuador.
