Minor in Health Advocacy

My name is Sahana Holla, and I am a senior here at the University of Kentucky pursuing a degree in Biology (B.S) with a Pre-Med focus. I grew up in Richmond, KY and graduated from Model Laboratory High School.

Along with being a College of Arts & Sciences Ambassador, I am involved in various other activities on campus. I am the Service Chair of Phi Delta Epsilon, a member of the Apollo Society, and a member of I Am a Woman in STEM. I am also actively involved with the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, the Artistic Director and Choreographer for Kentucky Karana (The University of Kentucky’s First Bollywood Fusion Dance Team), and choreograph routines for cultural events in the local area. Lastly, I am also involved in Undergraduate Research in the Santollo Lab where I research the effects of hormones on memory and dehydration.

I am proud to be a part of the Big Blue Nation, and love all that it has to offer! If you have any questions about the University of Kentucky, please feel free to contact me!
