Mirindi Kabangu
Undergraduate Research Assistant

I am senior undergraduate student completing a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry with a specialization in genetics, genomics, and bioinformatics. I was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and I am from Fort Wayne Indiana. I am currently Vice President of ChemCats (UK chapter of ACS). I am also a member of the African Student Association, American Medical Student Association, Biology Honors Society, and UK Habitat for Humanity. I am currently working in the lab of Dr. Stephen Randal Voss and my plans after I graduate are to pursue an M.D. Ph.D. and continue learning more about computational genetics. I am honored to be a part of this amazing school where opportunities are limitless!

Please feel free to contact me if you would like to know more about UK.
